Job Summary

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Food Service Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our food services team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, making salads, and assembling entrees.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, including equipment and dishwashing.
  • Inventory Management: Receive and stock food supplies as needed to ensure adequate inventory levels.
  • Stocking and Organization: Ensure food and beverage areas are well-stocked and organized to meet customer demands.
  • Serving Customers: Deliver food and beverage orders promptly and efficiently to meet customer expectations.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
  • Setup and Cleanup: Assist with preparing and cleaning dining areas to maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in food service or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Kitchen Skills: Ability to follow instructions and safely operate kitchen equipment.
  • Hygiene Knowledge: Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules and regulations.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills.
