Occupational Health Manager Position

This senior leadership role is ideal for a proactive and self-directed professional who thrives in a dynamic, supportive environment. As an Occupational Health & Safety Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a great team, making a real difference in the lives of residents and clients.

As part of our rapidly growing organisation, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction on the management and development of health and safety strategies and systems across all sites. This includes planning, developing and implementing practical health and safety programmes in line with best practice and legislation.

You will partner with our Senior Management Team, providing high-level advice and hands-on support to local site safety and injury management teams. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating investigations of workplace incidents
  • Managing WorkCover Claims in conjunction with rehabilitation Coordinators

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant tertiary degree in Health & Safety, Human Resources, Nursing or Allied Health, with relevant safety qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years experience in safety and claims management
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft software and safety management software systems
