Job Description:

The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance is a consortium of companies selected to build South Australia's biggest-ever road infrastructure project. The alliance partners with the South Australian Government to deliver a 78 km, non-stop, traffic light-free motorway.

The T2D Project involves constructing two separate tunnels and an open motorway. The project comprises tunnels, surface works including road and bridge construction, services buildings, and complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure.

The alliance is committed to providing opportunities for local people, Aboriginal workers, apprentices, trainees, and job seekers who are long-term unemployed.

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the construction of retaining wall structures for the Torrens to Darlington project.

You will provide technical leadership and engineering expertise to ensure retaining wall elements meet project requirements, standards, and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead design, review, and coordination of retaining wall structures
  • Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams
  • Ensure retaining wall designs comply with relevant standards and codes
  • Monitor quality, safety, and environmental performance of retaining wall construction activities
  • Manage risk assessments, method statements, and engineering documentation
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:

Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field

Substantial experience in construction on large infrastructure projects

Proven track record in managing complex retaining wall engineering works

Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to provide innovative solutions

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities
