Job Title: Retail Promotions Manager

Job Description:

The IBA Retail Promotions Manager will lead and develop a team responsible for delivering promotional programs across retail banners. The role involves managing projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, and driving commercial outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of promotions coordinators to drive business growth through effective project management.
  • Partner with category managers and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate submission of promotional data and materials.
  • Manage the planning and execution of alternate brand promotions to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with state operations and key internal stakeholders to ensure clear and consistent communication of promotional activities.
  • Deliver promotional timelines in alignment with business schedules to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work cross-functionally with the wider merchandise, marketing, and operations teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Contribute to improving promotional processes and identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Strong process or project management experience within FMCG or retail industries.
  • Prior experience managing a team and passion for developing others to excel in their roles.
  • Confident communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
  • Experience working in retail, liquor, or similar fast-paced commercial environments to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to analyze data and present findings.
