Data Foundation Program Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the implementation of data foundation programs across the APAC region.
Role OverviewThis regional position involves driving data quality initiatives, establishing data governance standards, and fostering data literacy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contractors, influencing IT DevOps teams, and promoting a data-driven culture across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and enforce data governance policies to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
- Enrich and maintain the data catalog to facilitate data discovery and enhance understanding of data assets.
- Drive organizational data literacy initiatives and foster a data-driven culture.
- Oversee and coordinate dashboards and analytical platforms.
- Proven experience in data management, data governance, data quality, and data literacy programs or related fields.
- Strong skills in Spark SQL and regular expressions for data quality validation.
- Good understanding of databases, ETL processes, DevOps practices, and AWS Cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, particularly in the context of data quality and catalog enrichment.
- Excellent remote communication skills and ability to manage multiple contractors.
