Event Coordination Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to join our team at Cronulla RSL.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality events that meet client expectations while developing and maintaining these client relationships. This role also involves operational requirements and is a hands-on position.

  • Develop and maintain a customer database to leverage repeatable sales opportunities
  • Acquire and follow up on leads, including preparing and presenting event proposals
  • Assist with end-to-end event coordination from sales to set up and delivery of an amazing event
  • Update venue event packages as required
  • Generate new business opportunities
  • Attend industry events

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, including event sales
  • Experience with event management software
  • Proven ability to drive sales
  • Exceptional customer service ethic and high expectations for quality
  • Engaging personal presence with outstanding verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Passionate approach to sales
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines
  • Positive and flexible attitude
  • Self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
