Job Opportunity: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator to join our team at Hopetoun Early Years Centre.

The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and implementing high-quality educational programs in line with the National Quality Framework and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma of Children's Services or equivalent, 2-3 years' experience working in early childhood settings, and a demonstrated understanding and experience implementing trauma-informed practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement play-based, developmentally appropriate educational programs
  • Provide high-quality documentation of children's learning and development
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge and application of trauma-informed practices
  • Build warm, intentional, and respectful relationships with children

About You:

  • A Diploma of Children's Services or equivalent
  • 2-3 years' experience working in early childhood settings
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience implementing trauma-informed practices
