About the Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to provide clinical leadership for our counselling teams, specialising in individual, family, and relationship services. The successful candidate will promote client wellbeing and safety through ethical, evidence-based practices, while ensuring counsellors are provided professional development and clinical supervision in accordance with organisational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to counselling teams
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practices to promote client wellbeing and safety
  • Collaborate with the Practice Quality Leadership group and Management team to drive continuous improvement and uphold RA-NT's reputation for excellence in therapeutic services
  • Ensure counsellors receive professional development and clinical supervision in accordance with organisational requirements
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field
  • Eligibility for membership of relevant professional association (e.g. AASW, APS, ACA, PACFA)
  • Extensive experience in a broad range of client services and counselling practices
  • Proven experience in clinical supervision and evaluating counselling programs
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute positively to a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • A high level of written and verbal communication skills, good administrative abilities and record keeping
  • Extensive exposure to or understanding of services relating to children, couples and family therapy
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
  • Experience working with clients and families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
  • Current Ochre Card, Criminal History Check, First Aid Certificate and NT Drivers Licence
