The Senior Analyst, Business Risk & Compliance - Member & Employer Experience (SAR-MEX) position is a key role within the Line 1 Business Risk & Compliance team, reporting to the Head of Business Risk & Compliance - MEX (HBR-MEX).
The SAR-MEX role is part of a Line 1 Business Risk & Compliance team, working within the MEX business, collaborating with MEX stakeholders to drive an optimised and sustainable balance between risk and reward to achieve member outcomes and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Implement the risk management framework and strategy to ensure MEX business risks are identified, understood and managed effectively, consistent with the Cbus enterprise risk management framework.
- Develop and review business unit risk registers to identify and analyse material risks, controls and compliance obligations based on documented business processes.
- Work with managers in the team to enhance and improve processes.
- Deliver meaningful insights from data using reporting tools such as PowerBI.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Proven risk, control and compliance experience in a senior specialist role ideally in the superannuation or financial services sector.
- Experience in supporting / implementing a line 1 risk management frameworks and controls in line with the enterprise risk strategy.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills.
- A proven ability to manage multiple tasks, activities and projects, simultaneously.
- A strong understanding of interdependencies between superannuation business processes, systems, risks, controls and compliance.
