Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced technical support specialist to join our team. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting complex software and hardware issues, creating technical knowledge articles and reports, and testing applications.

You will also travel nationally and globally to provide on-site support and training. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate technical information effectively.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and assistance to customers via phone, email, and in-person meetings
  • Collaborate with engineers to resolve software and hardware bugs discovered during support investigations
  • Support sales teams by meeting with customers and preparing them for customer engagements
  • Travel to customer locations to provide on-site support and training
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles
  • Analyze and resolve high-level complex issues and provide technical assistance to account executives and product managers

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience as a technical support specialist or equivalent customer-facing role
  • Experience supporting subsea or maritime industries is preferred but not essential
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in English
  • Dedication to delivering exceptional customer experiences while being a creative problem-solver

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science or engineering
