Job DescriptionA Field Services Engineer is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring seamless instrument installations, and providing timely maintenance to prevent downtime. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or electronics engineering, experience working in field engineering, and proficiency in IT systems. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide proactive technical support to customers to resolve issues efficiently
- Collaborate with senior account management teams to ensure successful installations and meet customer expectations
- Ensure all preventative maintenance is carried out in a timely manner to minimize downtime
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, application specialists, and regional service managers
- Tertiary degree in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent qualification
- Experience working in field engineering related fields within the Medical Devices industry
- Strong technical expertise in IT and middleware systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
