Job Title: Product Strategy Lead

 

 

Product Strategy Leads will play a pivotal role in driving sourcing activities and proposing innovative methods to reduce costs. This includes developing new category management strategies that deliver forecasted benefits.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive category management strategies to drive business value.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand internal requirements and determine the best sourcing and category management approach.
  • Ensure the delivery of budgeted savings through effective sourcing initiatives.
  • Innovate on current processes to offer an optimized approach to buying and propose continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in budgeting activities based on existing agreements and proposed cost increases/decreases.
  • Propose and implement process improvements, including supplier relationship management to deliver performance management, continuous improvement, and innovation objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sourcing or procurement roles with demonstrated achievements in improving processes and managing customer/supplier relationships within complex environments.
  • Extensive supply chain experience developed across operational, cross-functional, or transformational roles, with well-developed analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills combined with well-developed people leadership & influencing skills, and understanding of change management practices.
