As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in our finance team. We are seeking an experienced professional to assist us with internal management reporting for our agri-food business.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Perth's CBD. You will have the chance to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our company.

You will be responsible for managing the accounting function for our cattle breeding and horticultural businesses. This includes maintaining accounting ledgers, preparing financial reports, and analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

We are looking for someone who has strong analytical skills and can work effectively in a team. You should have a CA or CPA qualification and at least 4 years of experience in public practice and commercial roles.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the accounting function for our cattle breeding and horticultural businesses
  • Assist in developing and implementing financial business process improvements
  • Perform weekly and monthly analysis to provide insights into financial data
  • Prepare payment claims for external customers
  • Assist with the preparation of group budgets and forecasts
