Job Title: Business Development Manager

Total Tools is looking for a Business Development Manager who has a real passion for tools & trades. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to leverage your sales skills and experience within a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing strong working relationships with key stakeholders/accounts
  • Liaising with, and finding solutions for current and potential clients
  • Creating and implementing sales plans and initiatives
  • Effectively managing customer interactions
  • Analysing sales and customer data to identify new opportunities
  • Attracting new customers in addition to growing existing business- you will be comfortable making proactive contact as required
  • Achieving sales, margin, and product mix targets
Requirements:
  • Solid commercial understanding with the ability to interpret relevant financial metrics
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with sound experience in a similar sales role
  • A strong ability to develop and maintain B2B relationships and influence decision-making
  • Strong work ethic and 'can do' attitude
  • Organised with excellent time management skills
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an eye for detail
  • Comfortable with technology – computer literacy is a must, with a professional phone manner
  • A comprehensive understanding and previous experience in the trade and industrial sector an advantage
