Job Overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a highly sophisticated Genomics Laboratory that specializes in cancer genomic testing and routine molecular genetics investigations.

You will work in a team of experienced technical and scientific staff who deliver innovative genomic testing solutions. You will perform laboratory support services, provide assistance to laboratory staff under supervision, and contribute to delivering a patient-focused service.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A working knowledge of the laboratory environment, with ability to learn and adapt to new aspects as needed
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to investigate and resolve issues within the laboratory
  • Demonstrated customer service experience, with effective communication skills for interacting with patients, clinical staff, and customers
  • Strong data entry skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Awareness of relevant legislation, policies, and requirements in a laboratory setting
