We are seeking an experienced process operator to take on the role of trainer and assessor for a gold processing plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for process plant personnel, focusing on operating processing circuits including multi-stage crushing, grinding, CIL, gravity, and electro-winning circuits.
  • Work with production and maintenance teams to coordinate in-house and outsourced training, creating individualized plans for OBM staff and completing Verification of Competencies (VoC) as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, issues, and trends, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and assist in updating procedures.
  • Assume responsibility as Process Plant Shift Supervisor in relief capacity.

Requirements:

  • Minimum four years of experience in a continuous process industry, with at least two years in a similar role.
  • Proven ability to manage training contractors and staff, ensuring effective communication and team-building skills.
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment is essential.
  • Desirable: Process plant start-up and commissioning experience, strong safety commitment, and excellent computer skills.
  • Driver's license (C Class, manual).
