About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the processing plant as a casual operator. You will be responsible for the safe and effective day-to-day operation of the plant, ensuring all areas are operating within required parameters.

You will work within a team environment to achieve key production outputs through the operation of the Wet Concentrator Plant (WCP), Concentrator Upgrade Plant (CUP) and the Control Room.

The site-based roster includes 8 days on, 6 off, 7 nights on, 7 off - Casual basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain operating parameters and throughputs of the plant from the Control Room
  • Observe equipment to assist maintenance personnel with identifying emerging issues
  • Report all identified issues to relevant personnel
  • Ensure clear, concise handover information includes challenges experienced and solutions implemented during the shift
  • Keep designated area of work clean and free of debris and obstacles through proactive work environment management
About You
  • Hold a current WA C-Class driver's licence
  • Completion of Certificate III in Resource Planning or willingness to obtain
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal communication skills across all levels of the organisation
  • Desire to transfer acquired skills and knowledge to new operators with less experience
  • Current Working at Heights & Confined Space Tickets, or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to operate wheel loader and skid steer would be advantageous
