The Club Manager is a critical role responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations. This includes managing staff, scheduling, customer service, facility maintenance, event coordination, and member relations.
Key Responsibilities:- Operations and Facility Management: Oversee daily opening, closing, and operation of the facility, ensuring all courts and facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, and supervise front desk, maintenance, coaching, and event staff, creating staff schedules and fostering a strong team culture.
- Customer Service and Membership: Serve as primary point of contact for members and guests, manage member registrations, renewals, and inquiries, and resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
- Scheduling and Events: Oversee court reservations, league play, social play, clinics, and tournaments, coordinating with coaches for classes and lessons.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills.
- Customer-focused with a mature and respectful approach.
- Comfortable with Scheduling software, Point-of-sale systems, and basic business tools (Excel, Word, Google Workspace).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evening and weekends as needed.
- Bonus points for experience managing a sports or fitness facility.
- Familiarity with pickleball rules, leagues, or coaching.
- Background in event planning or community engagement.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
