We're seeking an experienced, dynamic Venue Manager to lead at Garden State Hotel, a prominent multi-level venue in Melbourne's heart.
This venue is renowned for its grand Beer Garden, award-winning Tippy Tay restaurant, and Rose Garden Cocktail Bar. It offers a fast-paced, high-energy environment requiring a leader who excels in managing complexity, precision, and pace.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing large, busy venues with diverse offerings. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations, driving service excellence, and developing a high-performing management team.
What We Offer:
- Generous Salary: $115,000 - $120,000 + Super
- Quarterly KPI Bonus: $44,000 P/A
- Opportunity to grow within Australia's rapidly expanding hospitality group with international prospects
- Autonomous role with extensive support
- Mobility across 200+ venues and counting
Candidate Requirements:
- 4+ years of Venue Management experience
- Experience in entertainment-focused venues
- Deep food & beverage knowledge
- Background in high-turnover customer service environments
- Ability to manage large teams effectively
- Experience in business development and strategic hospitality management
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability and willingness to learn
- Market awareness and industry trend analysis
- Ability to implement successful promotions
- State-based RSA qualification
