Quality Leadership Role

We are seeking a high-calibre professional to lead our quality initiatives and drive excellence in patient care.

About the Position

This is a permanent full-time opportunity within our Quality Department, working 80 hours per fortnight. As Associate Director Quality, you will be responsible for leading contemporary patient safety practices, supporting quality systems related to patient safety, and driving a just culture and learning culture to ensure high-quality, safe care.

  • Support the delivery of high-quality, safe care and success with relevant accreditation schemes.
  • Oversight of quality systems, including adverse patient safety events management and governance of the Victorian Hospital Incident Management System (VHIMS).
  • Leadership and support of committees that promote high-quality, safe care.
Your Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Demonstrated leadership at a senior level within a tertiary healthcare setting.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in a related field (preferably at Masters level).
  • Relevant industry experience and proven ability in building high-functioning teams.
  • Excellent communication, report preparation, and presentation skills.
