Job Description

The Data Center Construction Manager Lead will be responsible for the day-to-day construction oversight and management of contractors. This role will also serve as a leader in construction management, building services, architectural, electrical, or mechanical engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project management and oversight of construction-related activities for new builds or general capital projects.
  • Driving costs down and schedules shorter while maintaining quality.
  • Provide Construction Management for specific initiatives aimed at increasing the resiliency of our data centers.
About the Role

A typical day for this role involves working closely with internal stakeholders and contractors to resolve project issues, manage RFIs, change orders, and other key delivery functions. The majority of the week is spent on site working with vendors to drive project outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of work experience in design and construction management.
  • Experience in program management in mission-critical facilities.
  • Knowledge of Australian building codes and regulations including Fire Codes, Building Codes, Energy Efficiency Codes, Sanitary Codes, and Safety Codes.
