Business Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in managing the practice and providing operational support to senior management.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have experience of running efficient operations, maintaining knowledge of relevant legislation, and assisting in business planning and staff reviews.
Main Responsibilities:
- Run daily operations smoothly and efficiently
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of government regulations
- Assist with the development and implementation of business plans and performance metrics
- Conduct regular performance reviews with team members
- Support recruitment and training initiatives for existing and new staff
- Ensure the practice is open for business at all times
- Oversee maintenance of office equipment and software systems
- Prepare and chair meetings with senior management and team members
- Manage diaries and bookings for accountants and clients
Requirements:
- Possession of a business-related qualification is desirable
- Relevant experience in a similar role within accounting or financial services
- Able to devise and review systems and processes for efficiency
- Knowledge of employment law and conditions
- Ability to make informed decisions within areas of responsibility
