Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on social and health impact assessments.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders to shape healthy, inclusive environments for the future.
  • Develop and implement social and community planning strategies, policies, and place-based initiatives that promote social inclusion, equity, wellbeing, and resilience.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Planning, Social Work/Social Sciences, Urban Planning, Public Health or related fields, and/or extensive demonstrated experience.
  • A well-developed understanding and experience of the relationship between the built environment and health and wellbeing outcomes.
  • Proven ability to lead and deliver Social and Health Impact Assessments (SaHIA), with a strong understanding of land use planning processes and healthy built environment principles.
