Development Manager

Mapletree is seeking a skilled Development Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Development Manager, you will work closely with the Development Team to manage the development process from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize development design requirements and formulate design briefs to align with the company's development strategy.
  • Manage the development of design concepts and options.
  • Manage design consultants and liaise with relevant authorities for project approvals, tender and award processes, and construction administration.
  • Ensure projects are completed within budget, schedule, and expected quality, and comply with regulatory requirements and corporate governance.
  • Administer agreements with design consultants and contractors, including procurement, service agreements, and invoice processing.

Requirements:

  • Relevant development or project management experience in commercial, retail, residential, industrial, or logistics projects is highly desirable.
  • Someone who seeks continuous improvement in design and processes through questioning the status quo and value engineering.
  • Possess high-level independence, cultural sensitivity, endurance, and adaptability, with excellent leadership skills to drive projects and teamwork.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 software is essential.
  • Experience in or willingness to learn SAP, Ariba, and Aconex software platforms is essential.
