Job Opportunity: Guest Experience Expert

The Tasman, a Luxury Hotel located in the heart of Hobart, is seeking highly motivated and experienced Guest Service Agents to join our team. As a Guest Experience Expert, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Job Description:

As a Guest Service Agent, your primary responsibility will be to provide seamless and transformative guest experiences. This includes processing all guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and room change/late check-out requests, securing payment, activating/reissuing room keys, resolving guest calls, and providing consistent outstanding guest experience in everything that you do.

  • Anticipate guests' service needs, asking questions to better understand their preferences and acting on them whenever possible.
  • Maintain customer loyalty through innovative issue resolution and strong attention to ensuring a positive guest experience.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
  • Thorough follow up, strong attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to emotionally connect with guests and provide superior levels of service.
  • Conflict resolution experience.
  • Flexibility to work on a 24-hour rotating roster including public holidays and weekends.
  • Experience of property management systems (PMS) an advantage.
  • Full working rights for Australia.
