Key Role Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a complex server room and laboratory environment. This role requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

The primary focus of this position is to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the server room and laboratory, including managing access, maintaining records, and coordinating with stakeholders.

This role plays a critical part in supporting the smooth operation of the System Integration Lab, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in facilities management, IT, or a related field, as well as strong project management skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily activities within the server room and laboratory, ensuring smooth operations and effective resource allocation.
  • Provide technical support to users, maintain compliance, and monitor support systems for notifications and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, including quality, safety, and security standards.
  • Lead change processes for shared facilities, monitor compliance, and coordinate risk assessments.
  • Manage access to facilities, maintain key registers, and provide reports on resource utilization.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of direct experience in facilities, IT, Defence, or site services operational roles.
  • 2+ years in a large matrix organization.
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and translating operational requirements into actionable deliverables.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Project management experience/qualifications a plus.
