The OpportunityWe are seeking a dedicated and proactive IT Server Room and Facility Support Coordinator to join our team in Brisbane.
The primary focus of this role is to manage complex server rooms and laboratories ensuring safe efficient and compliant operation.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily activities within the server room ensuring smooth operations timely maintenance and effective resource allocation in collaboration with Information Digital Technology and Security (IDT&S).
- Provide technical support to users maintain compliance and monitor support systems for notifications and reliability while building strong relationships with stakeholders to optimize workflows.
- Ensure compliance with policies including Defence Cabling Standards and the Information Security Manual.
- Lead change processes for shared facilities monitor compliance with quality safety and security standards and coordinate Environment Health & Safety and electrical safety risk assessments.
- Manage access to System Integration Lab facilities maintain key safe registers and provide reports on resource utilization.
- Assist in coordinating contractors for facilities and site services relay updates on floor plans and employee movements support regular inspections to ensure compliance facilitate site inductions and communicate regarding emergency training and evacuation requirements.
