We are looking for a rockstar manager to run our brand new Brisbane CBD venue on a full time basis which offers two exciting and unique entertainment concepts - Quiz Room and Virtual Room.

If you've always loved hospitality but are looking for a more sociable working schedule (no late nights) and are keen to be fully autonomous running the branch independently then we want to hear from you

QUIZ ROOM

VIRTUAL ROOM

An award-winning team virtual reality experience. Blending the escape room concept with a full 3D cinematic experience to deliver a unique, immersive and mind-blowing adventure for groups of 2-4 players lasting ~40-50 minutes.

VENUE MANAGER DUTIES

As Venue Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the successful day to day operation of the branch, including:

Overall customer experience ensuring all customers have an excellent experience

Staff management including hiring, training, rostering and payroll

Game room operations including ensuring equipment is working and charged at all times

Premise management including maintaining a high standard of maintenance and cleanliness, ordering supplies and maintaining cash and stock reconciliations

Acting as a Game Master as required

Venue Manager hours are Thursday to Mondays and hours are typically 10am to 6pm or 12pm to 8pm depending on bookings.

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT FEATURES:

We are seeking the best and most engaging Venue manager– if you are a motivated individual with previous operations management experience, great customer service skills and a passion for people, then get in touch

Enthusiastic, engaging and keen to provide customers with a great experience. The ideal candidate should have previous branch or venue management experience

Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Able to adapt well to difficult situations / customers and resolve issues in an empathetic and professional manner

Great staff management skills and must be a team player

Organised and able to handle a branch which could be busy with big events or have quiet days

Self directed and able to take initiative - you will be running the branch with limited oversight

Good computer skills (booking systems, POS systems, Excel, etc.) and generally comfortable with technology

Handyperson skills a bonus
