Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Health Information Manager to join our Coding & Casemix Services Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our clinical data, while also contributing to the development of our coding and casemix strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of our coding and casemix strategies
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of our clinical data
  • Collaborate with our clinical teams to improve patient outcomes
  • Develop and maintain our coding and casemix policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Health Sciences (Medical Classification)/Bachelor of Health Information Management or other equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of seven years' experience in a clinical coding related role
  • Current knowledge in ICD-10-AM, ACS, VAED reporting, National Funding Model
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly developed organisational, time management and interpersonal skills
