Head of Learning Community
\We are seeking a courageous leader to join our learning community, not to run a school, but to co-create a thriving, human-centred culture.
As the Head of Learning Community, you will be responsible for leading teams in complex non-traditional settings, operationalising the strategy daily, and providing consistent and emotionally grounded guidance to the community. You will also lead inclusively, celebrating and nurturing diversity, and confidently embrace and communicate the GVL values and educational philosophy.

We Are Looking For
Someone who can hold space for a thriving, human-centred culture grounded in our shared values and commitment to community. You will enjoy supporting courageous conversations and helping to guide others through complexity and change. You will lean into our Growth and Impact Framework (Agency, Mastery, Community Connection) and work towards building communities that positively impact the world. This role invites someone who is relational, grounded, and evolving, with a focus on leadership through relationships rather than authority and power. The real leadership happens in conversation, co-creation, and care.
The Successful Applicant Will Be Able To
* Offered as a 5-year contract commencing Term 1, 2026 (or earlier by negotiation)
* Applicants must have the right to work in Australia and be a registered VIT teacher
* Global Village Learning staff comply with the school's child safety policies and related procedures, upholding legislative frameworks to protect children from abuse
