Equipment Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all production equipment and facilities are maintained to meet production targets and output requirements.

About the Role
  • Proactively maintain production equipment and facilities to ensure they meet production targets and output requirements.
  • Complete start-up and shut-down operations, and provide day-to-day production support.
  • Participate in the planned maintenance program using a computerized maintenance management system.
  • Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Uphold a high standard of safety and safe working practices across all work areas.
About You
  • Fitter qualification is essential.
  • Experience in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods is preferred.
  • You must have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
  • Able to proactively plan and manage workload efficiently.
  • Solid physical capability is necessary.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and efficiently with all departments.
  • Willingness to assist contractors when necessary.
  • Accountable for completed work.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Reliability and flexibility to work additional hours due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Effective communication skills are essential.
  • Willinmg to participate in relevant training to ensure ongoing compliance with company policies and procedures.
