Our Mobile Equipment Technicians are the backbone of our operations.

As a skilled and versatile professional, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch service solutions to our valued customers on a daily basis. This hands-on role involves regular travel to customer sites to perform various types of maintenance tasks on forklift equipment and other lifting devices.

You'll appreciate the variety that comes with this job, where every day is different. From routine maintenance and emergency repairs to complex overhauls, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your skills and expertise.

This position reports directly to the Service Manager, who will provide guidance and support as needed. You'll also work closely with a talented team of professionals at our Toowoomba branch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform planned maintenance and inspections on forklifts up to 7 tonne capacity and heavy equipment
  • Conduct new machine builds and modifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A background in automotive mechanics or a related field
  • An ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential
  • Electrical and hydraulic experience is highly valued
