Job Title: Research Governance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to provide operational support for research activities across our network.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with researchers and internal stakeholders regarding submissions and projects.
  • Coordinate research meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and follow-up with stakeholders to ensure compliance with reporting obligations.
  • Contribute to the development of our research unit through continuous improvement and adoption of new initiatives.
  • Maintain and improve our Research Ethics, Governance & Grants Database.
  • Provide general administrative support as required.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in a research-intensive environment with knowledge of research ethics and governance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and legislation related to human research ethics and research governance within Australia.
  • Familiarity with electronic research information management systems.

Requirements:

  • A National Police Check may be required.
