About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Lead to join our Retail team at carsales. As a key member of our data function, you will play a critical role in driving business outcomes through data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced statistical models and analysis to drive business insights and inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver data-driven solutions that meet business needs.
  • Lead the development of data visualizations and reporting to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our data solutions remain cutting-edge.
  • Manage and mentor a team of data specialists to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in data analytics and business intelligence, with a strong understanding of statistical modeling and data visualization.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team of data specialists.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, and R, as well as data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
