About the Opportunity:

The Analytics Lead will play a pivotal role in fostering a data-driven culture at EnergyAustralia, guiding a team of analytics professionals, and ensuring the integrity, quality, and governance of the organization's data assets and visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement the framework for the Business Intelligence (BI) platform across On-Premises and Cloud environments.
  • Develop and maintain advanced data models to support analytics and reporting needs, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.
  • Lead the delivery of analytics projects, providing actionable insights through data analysis and modeling to drive business decisions.
  • Manage and maintain BI Application Servers to ensure the smooth operation of the analytics infrastructure.
  • Mentor team members in BI best practices, data modeling techniques, and tool usage to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the usage, performance, and status of the BI platform, data models, and analytics initiatives.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, IT, or related field or equivalent significant practical experience.
  • Relevant certifications in data analytics and BI platforms.
  • Minimum 7 years in analytics, data modeling, and BI platform management in a complex corporate environment.
  • Expertise in designing and optimizing complex data models from a variety of data sources.
  • Proficient in advanced analytics, including statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Power BI and Tableau.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven success in communicating complex analysis across all levels within a business.
  • Experience in leading BI user communities and training sessions.
