The Clinical Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the Practice Manager to coordinate and manage the financial and operational aspects of the practice. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the daily management of the practice to ensure exceptional patient experiences at every touchpoint.
  • Handling customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintaining a clean and well-presented reception and front office area.
  • Assisting in the recruitment process and contributing to building a high-performing team.
  • Facilitating the induction and onboarding of new employees, identifying training needs.
  • Providing support, encouragement, and mentoring to team members.
  • Acting as a role model to your team members.
  • Collaborating with the PM to drive practice growth, by assisting with local area marketing.
  • Managing daily tasks such as recalls, confirmations, online bookings, and treatment follow-ups.
  • Delivering exceptional patient care, with a focus on new and existing patients.
  • Undertaking practice administration activities and maintaining high standards.
  • Being flexible to work on reception or in surgery as needed to support practice operations.
  • Participating in WH&S audits and implementing recommended improvements within specified timelines.

Requirements include:

  • Previous experience in dental or healthcare administration preferred.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
  • Proficiency in office software and practice management systems.
