Product Specialist Role

We are seeking a Product Specialist to drive the development and enhancement of our suite of financial technology products.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving data-informed decision-making, gathering and analysing user data, market trends, and business requirements to identify opportunities, validate product ideas, and evaluate product performance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure problems are well understood, clearly defined, and there is a clear path on how the strategic vision will be translated into modern and market leading software.
  • Research and articulate complex technical, financial, and conceptual ideas into actionable insights, specifications, and plans.
  • Analyse product usage, client behaviour, and performance metrics to inform feature development and enhancements. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to guide prioritisation and continuous improvement.
  • Manage aspects of cross-team dependencies to keep track of key products and deliverables from inception to production iterations.
  • Work closely with clients to understand key pain points, build advocacy, and develop a client-centric solution to challenges to be solved.
  • Champion the internal and external adoption of foundation capabilities and services.
  • Define learning and adoption pathways for internal and external consumers of foundational capabilities.
  • Undertake market analysis and research to inform product prioritisation and sequencing, and that product roadmaps are complete and iterated upon.
  • Ensure product backlogs are regularly groomed and that the backlog accurately reflects current status.
  • Proactively contribute to discovery sessions, ensuring outcomes are shaped to benefit our clients and more broadly, GTMD.
