About this role

The IT Team Lead will be responsible for leading the team through its growth stages, extending across Australia and New Zealand, and including all Distribution Centres, Logistics Hubs, and Corporate Offices.

This individual will ensure alignment of all IT aspects at these sites in accordance with a unified global approach. They will define and deliver a vision for IT in Asia Pacific, act as a trusted advisor to the organization, and manage risk, auditing, compliance, and information security partnerships for the region.

This is a senior leadership role requiring 10 years of progressive experience in the IT sector, with 3-5 or more years in a similar position. The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management skills, strong prioritization abilities, and advanced knowledge of IT Operations best practices and Service Delivery/Management frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and deliver a vision for IT in Asia Pacific
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the organization, facilitating informed decision making and strategic development.
  • Nurture and manage an established IT Team
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members to drive positive change aligned with organizational vision and goals.
  • Manage all risk, auditing, compliance, and information security partnerships for the region.
  • Evaluate new products and services against the existing technology stack to align with business needs, and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Be responsible for delivering all IT Projects within the region.
  • Set and achieve OKRs through strategically aligned global and local initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Ideal qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience working in the IT sector, with 3-5 or more years in a senior leadership role.
  • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network, and systems administration, databases, and warehouse technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with IT Operations best practices and Service Delivery/Management frameworks.
  • IT Certifications are not essential but are desirable.
