Job Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled Inclusive Workplace Strategist to join our team. As a critical member of our People Capability and Experience department, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and executing our Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging strategy. Your expertise will drive lasting impact across our organization, fostering an ongoing culture of inclusivity and respect.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Strategy Development: Lead the development and execution of our D&I strategy, supporting the achievement of our People and Planet Positive Plan and the Wesfarmers Elevate Reconciliation Action Plan.
  • Partnerships and Collaboration: Build strong relationships with our team members, managers, Senior Leaders, and external community partners to implement strategies and deliver outcomes that support the attraction, retention, and career progression of our diverse team and enhance customer experiences.
  • Educating and Inspiring: Utilize your subject matter expertise to champion diversity through engaging communications, education, team member and leadership development, and events across Officeworks.
  • Measuring Success: Proactively track, report, and analyze D&I metrics and progress to enhance our programs and inform decision-making.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to your team and broader team members, promoting a culture of respect, inclusivity, and safety.
About You

You are a commercial thinker with a genuine passion for creating inclusive environments. With previous experience in creating and executing D&I strategies, you possess the ability to project manage and execute programs that drive change and impact across large organizations. Your influence and presentation skills will enable you to effectively engage senior stakeholders and build meaningful relationships across complex businesses.
