Mental Health Occupational Therapist

This is an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to work with adults in a mental health setting. We are looking for someone who can contribute their skills and experience to our team.
Key Responsibilities:- To assess and develop occupational therapy interventions that support consumers in achieving their goals and improving their functional skills.
- To apply knowledge of occupational therapy models of practice to inform mental health interventions.
- A degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy, along with full registration with AHPRA.
- Experience in mental health assessment, care coordination, and treatment/interventions, including group work.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working with consumers to identify their needs and develop plans to address these needs. They will also be involved in providing training and education to other staff members on occupational therapy practices and models.
This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be able to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
