We are currently seeking a committed, full-time Warehouse & Inventory Clerk to join our dynamic supply chain team.

Position Overview:

As a Warehouse & Inventory Clerk, you will be an organized and analytical individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a vital member of our Purchasing & Logistics team, you will contribute significantly to the precise and efficient management of inventory related to our innovative road safety technology products. Your duties will encompass receiving, storing, and distributing materials, inspecting incoming shipments, organizing inventory, and collaborating with other departments to fulfill essential client orders.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Oversight: Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, oversee inventory transactions in SAP, and handle returns. Quality Assurance: Detect discrepancies in picking slips and bills of materials, ensuring accurate receipt and quantities of materials. Logistics Management: Prepare requisitions, coordinate shipments, and confirm that outgoing shipments meet specifications. Warehouse Organization: Ensure a clean, orderly, and safe inventory warehouse and storerooms. Support and Improvement: Assist production with material requests, participate in cycle counts and stock takes, and implement inventory management systems. Collaboration and Compliance: Work collaboratively with all stakeholders, suggest process enhancements, and adhere to company policies and standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will be an organized and logical thinker with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. They will possess strong communication skills and excel at building relationships with diverse stakeholders. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as they will manage both reactive and scheduled tasks. A commitment to accountability and quality is crucial, along with a willingness to accept constructive feedback. A passion for customer service is vital. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of electronic components, experience in manufacturing, and a proven track record in safe manual handling practices. Proficiency in SAP and ERP, along with familiarity with Microsoft Word & Excel, is required. Experience in shipping processes and strong communication skills are essential, as is a valid Australian Drivers License. A current Forklift License is highly desirable.
