Home Care Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Home Care Professional, providing essential support to older people living in their own homes in Port Macquarie and surrounding suburbs.
About the RoleThis role involves delivering high-quality care services to clients, promoting their independence and improving their quality of life. You will travel to clients' homes using your own vehicle, for which you will be paid $0.99 per km plus paid travel time.
The care tasks may include:
- Providing personal care, such as assisting with showering and dressing
- Helping around the home, including meal preparation and light cleaning
- Transporting clients to appointments and assisting with shopping
- Assisting with medication management
You are patient, compassionate, and solutions-focused. You may have previous experience in aged or community care or be looking to start your career in aged care. You hold a valid Driver's Licence and have access to a reliable, insured vehicle (minimum Third Party Property Insurance). Ideally, you will have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support.
BenefitsWe offer a competitive hourly rate of $30.42 to $33.15, plus $0.99/km, paid travel time, and a mobile phone. Full training is provided; no experience necessary. Secure employment with a 14-day permanent part-time roster is available. Salary packaging up to $15,900 tax-free and Fitness Passport membership are also included.
