We are seeking a Care and Support Professional to provide essential care to older people living independently at home.
About the RoleThis role involves traveling to clients' homes, providing personal care such as assisting with showering and dressing, helping around the home including meal preparation and light cleaning, transporting clients to appointments and assisting with shopping, and assisting with medication management.
- Patience, compassion, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Previous experience in aged or community care is beneficial but not required.
- A valid Driver's Licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle (minimum Third Party Property Insurance) are necessary.
- A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is preferred but can be obtained through training provided by our organization.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of home care clients are crucial.
- An hourly rate of $30.42 to $33.15, plus $0.99/km paid travel time, and a mobile phone are offered.
- Full training is provided, making no experience necessary.
- Secure employment with a 14-day permanent part-time roster is available.
- Salary packaging up to $15,900 tax-free is possible.
- A Fitness Passport membership is included.
- A First Aid Certificate is provided and paid for by our organization.
- Paid training for a Certificate III in Aged Care is available for career progression.
