Job Title: Finance Operations Specialist

The role of Finance Operations Specialist is a vital position within our organisation, requiring strong organisational skills and attention to detail. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable: Process invoices and reconcile statements in a timely manner.
  • Accounts Receivable: Generate invoices and manage payments efficiently.
  • Payroll Administration: Assist with payroll processing and maintain accurate records.
  • Account Reconciliations: Regularly perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain well-organised financial records for easy access.
  • Reporting: Provide support with financial reporting as needed.
  • Client Liaison: Respond to client inquiries related to billing and payments.
  • Scheduling Support: Offer assistance with client scheduling and appointment management as required.
  • General Administrative Support: Manage office supplies and provide general administrative support as directed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in finance administration
  • Accounting/bookkeeping qualification
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software
  • Sound knowledge of BAS, GST, and ATO reporting
  • Able or willing to learn using Practice Management Apps
  • NDIS billing familiarity
  • Healthcare/allied health experience
