Electrical Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to lead our electrical design documentation, conduct inspections, and manage compliance checks for electrical and solar PV systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and approving electrical design documentation, grid connection applications, and contractor installations.
  • Conducting inspections, signoffs, and managing compliance checks for electrical and solar PV systems.
  • Auditing and assessing commercial and industrial buildings to identify energy-saving opportunities.
  • Developing and overseeing energy management plans and upgrade projects for diverse assets.
  • Engaging with clients to provide solutions, drive energy savings, and uncover new business opportunities.
  • Ensuring technical excellence, quality assurance, and compliance across all deliverables.

You will bring a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent), chartered status (CPEng) and NER registration, and professional affiliations and certifications (e.g., NABERS, Green Star, WELL AP). You will have 5+ years of experience in the building services sector, a solid understanding of the National Construction Code of Australia, proven success in energy audits, asset condition assessments, and solar/renewable projects, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in using AutoCAD to develop and modify electrical design and construction drawings.
