About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join our team at Duratec Australia. As a key member of our Remediation Estimating department, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate and detailed cost estimates for Mining & Industrial tenders.

With a strong focus on construction methodologies, programs, and submission documentation, you will work closely with our Subject Matter Experts to ensure timely delivery of high-quality tender submissions. Your expertise in preparing and developing accurate cost estimates from first principles, risk and opportunity assessment, and site visits will be invaluable in this role.

As a Senior Estimator, you will have the opportunity to step up into a leadership position or transition into a Project Engineer/Manager role, leveraging your existing experience and skills. About You

  • You hold tertiary qualifications in Construction Management / Quantity Surveying / Engineering or similar and possess strong knowledge of cost estimation software such as Pronamics Expert Estimation.
  • You have prior experience working in the resources maintenance field and have built up cost estimates from first principles. Marine experience is highly desirable.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills, confidence, and professionalism, along with a strong financial and commercial acumen.
  • You are proficient in MS Office and MS Project and can effectively coordinate multiple tenders and deadlines.
