Rehabilitation Consultant Job

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Rehabilitation Consultant. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will work with clients who have sustained physical and/or psychological injuries at work, providing support and guidance to help them recover and return to work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Reasoning Skills: Apply clinical reasoning skills to assess client needs and develop rehabilitation plans
  • Collaborative Team Work: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support client recovery
  • Vocational Assessments: Perform various assessments, including Vocational Assessments and Worksite Assessments
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders, including injured employees and employers, medical specialists, and other allied health professionals
  • Rehabilitation Planning: Develop, implement, and monitor rehabilitation plans through case management

Requirements
  • Industry Registration or Membership: Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA or ASORC)
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology
  • Clinical Reasoning Skills: Strong clinical reasoning skills
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams
  • Patient Care: Passion for helping people rehabilitate
