Credit Specialist Role

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the success of our clients as a seasoned Credit Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments for diverse transactions, including Mergers and Acquisitions, Project Finance, Leveraged and Trade Finance.
  • Develop and maintain expertise across various sectors such as Infrastructure, Energy, Mining, Real Estate & Natural Resources.
  • Prepare and present detailed credit due diligence reports, rating recommendations, risk alert assessments, and ongoing monitoring of credit performance.
  • Collaborate with business functions to facilitate credit application and approval processes.
  • Provide guidance to ensure appropriate action is taken to mitigate potential risks associated with customers, industry sectors, and transaction structures.
  • Perform other credit and risk management tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in analyzing structured transactions.
  • Strong independent decision-making skills and ability to identify risks with reasonable solutions.
  • Ability to write comprehensive due diligence reports.
  • Tertiary degree in Commerce / Business / Finance.
  • Good knowledge of Corporate Finance & Institutional Banking products.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for financial modeling, data manipulation, and analytics.
  • Excellent verbal and written language skills; proficiency in Chinese Mandarin is desirable.
