Transaction Monitoring Specialist

This role involves analyzing and investigating suspicious transactions with a major financial institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing customer due diligence activities for individual and business customer portfolios to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluating and ensuring compliance with local and international policies and regulations.
  • Collaborating across departments to maintain high standards of compliance and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Reviewing corporate, legal documentation and other account opening paperwork for completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of financial policies and procedures while implementing robust risk-management frameworks in operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial services role.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High levels of analytical skills, problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • A relevant degree is advantageous but not essential.
