**Job Title:** Patient Transport Officer

**About the Role:** We are seeking a dedicated Patient Transport Officer to join our team at the Royal Flying Doctor Service, Victoria. As a key member of our Mobile Patient Care (MPC) team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and transport services to individuals in need.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Perform patient assessments and interventions on-road to ensure optimal care
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Provide exceptional patient care and treatment during on-road transport
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to support patient care and transport services

**Requirements:**

  • Qualification as a Patient Transport Officer (PTO) - Minimum of Cert III in Non-emergency Patient Care
  • Experience working in the Non-Emergency Patient Transport (NEPT) sector - Desirable but not essential
  • Full Victorian Driver's License and satisfactory driving history report
  • Availability to work shifts across a 24-hour, 7-day roster
